Nearly Rs 60 crore have been seized so far by the teams of state police and Income tax department from the five poll bound states. <br/><br/>According to election commission, of this state police have seized Rs 47.74 lakh, while Income Tax department seized Rs 11.61 crore. The highest amount of cash around Rs 24 crore was seized from Tamil Nadu, followed by Rs 12 crore each from Assam and West Bengal, Rs 10 crore from Kerala and Rs 66 lakh from Puducherry.
