Rs 36.22 crore to Jammu & Kashmir tourist infrastructure

The Centre has sanctioned seven more tourism projects worth Rs 36.22 crore to Jammu and Kashmir for upgradation of tourist infrastructure in the state.This was stated by the State Tourism and Culture Minister, Nawang Rigzin Jora while chairing a high level meeting to review physical and financial achievements registered for upgradation of tourist related infrastructure in the state under Central schemes.He said these projects have been sanctioned for upgrading tourist infrastructure at potential spots like Jammu, Akhnoor, Reasi Sonamarg, Srinagar, Leh and Zanskar, adding that Centre has released the first installment of Rs 8.04 crore for taking up these projects.
