In Jammu and Kashmir State, an amount of Rs. 230 crore is being spent for restoration and conservation of historical places. This was stated by State Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora<br/>In Jammu. He said the State’s monumental heritage is being preserved and showcased in a big way so as to attract tourists. The minister said, 35 monuments have been declared as protected heritage sites of the State. The J&K Minister of State for Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani said that the figure of 8 million pilgrims who visited Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine is likely to go up to around 10 million with the improvement in infrastructural facilities in the tourism sector<br/>
