Rs 200 cr to be utilized under NREGA in J&K

<br/>Describing the NREGA scheme as a revolutionary programme, Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar said that by implementing the programme the rural economy could be strengthened.<br/><br/>He added that by adopting the scheme on ground level, unemployment problem could be tackled to a great extent. The Minister said that 200 crore rupees would be utilized in the state under the scheme during next year.<br/><br/>Mr. Sagar said that the present government is making efforts for the welfare of the people living in rural areas.<br/><br/>He appealed the people not to heed to rumours and come forward for taking benefits of the welfare schemes launched by the government.<br/><br/>The Minister appealed the separatists and militant organizations to adopt path of negotiation and play their role in solving the problem .He urged security agencies to ensure that no civilian is harassed during any operation.<br/>
