Rs. 2/kg wheat for BPL Families in Rajasthan

The Rajasthan Government will launch an ambitious scheme tomorrow to sell wheat to BPL families at a cost of two rupees per kg in all 33 district headquarters. <br/><br/>An official spokesman said, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate the project in tribal belt of Tonk district. He said, the scheme will benefit 36.57 lakh BPL families including a state list of beneficiaries. <br/><br/>BPL families can purchase 25 kg of wheat at 2 rupee per kg every month beginning with May through public distribution system.<br/>
