The Centre has sanctioned 130 crore rupees for the strengthening of 65 police stations across the naxal affected districts of Chhattisgarh. Along with this, the Central government has also approved the demand of the Chhattisgarh government to recruit 3 thousand special police officers for deployment in the naxal affected areas. According to official sources, this was decided in the meeting held between the Prime Minsiter and the chief ministers of the seven naxal affected states of the country yesterday in New Delhi.
