BJP president Amit Shah has said that corruption to the tune of 12 lakh crore rupees took place when Congress was in power, and asserted the BJP-led NDA government has given a graft-free government to the country. Mr Shah was addressing a public meeting at Suryapet in Nalgonda district of Telangana yesterday as part of 'Vikas Parv' being observed by the BJP on the occasion of the NDA government completing two years in office. He said, during Congress' rule, corruption took place in space, beneath earth, skies and on the earth. Mr Shah was referring to the scams such as 2G, Coal blocks, Commonwealth Games, VVIP chopper deal.
