<span style="color: #222222;">Railway Protection Force, RPF personnel have saved 42 people in January this year as part of Mission Jeevan Raksha. Railways Ministry said that RPF has been saving lives of persons in danger of coming under the wheels of running trains at various railway stations. It said, to provide better security to the women passengers several new initiatives were taken under the code name Mahila Suraksha. Last month, RPF had deployed Meri Saheli teams at major railway stations with an objective to provide security to lady passengers especially travelling alone and covered around 13 thousand of trains all over the country. The Ministry said, RPF has arrested five persons in cases of molestation and eve-teasing and arrested over two thousand persons found travelling in ladies coaches.<br />''<br />''More than one thousand children in need of care and protection who came in contact with Indian Railways were rescued last month. The Ministry said, presently Child Help Desks are functional at 132 railway stations across the Indian railways.</span><br />
