In the Indian Premier Legue Cricket (IPL) auction 2016 in Bengaluru, Australian all-rounder Shane Watson was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for nine and a half crore rupees today. Watson received the highest bid in the auction. Yuvraj Singh was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for seven crore rupees. Sunrisers Hyderabad also bought Ashish Nehra for 5.50 crore. Ishant Sharma went to Pune Super Giants for 3.8 crore. Kevin Pietersen, the first player in the auction, was sold for 3.5 crore rupees to Pune Super Giants.
