Round-robin match between India and Nepal ends in a goal-less draw in Nehru Cup football<br/>

India drew its round-robin match of the Nehru Cup football tournament against Nepal at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday evening. Needing a victory to seal a place in the finals for the third time in a row, defending champions India showed intent but failed to find the net even once as it was a goalless draw at the end of the stipulated 90 minutes. Nepal, on the other hand, played brave football on the wet field of the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, preventing the Indian forward line to open the goal mouth. India are still at the top of the points table with 2 wins and one draw from 3 matches played so far.India will play its last league match of the tournament against Cameroon on the 31st of August.
