External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has said Roma community is the first flag bearer of Indian culture overseas and they have maintained Indian identity despite living in challenging circumstances since centuries. <br/><br/>Addressing International Roma Conference in New Delhi today, Mrs Swaraj said, the community is the best example of peaceful coexistence. She commended Roma Community for maintaining Indian value system and contributing to the growth of the countries they lived in. <br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj stressed the need for more research in the area and preservation of data and documents. She said, India is progressing and developing at a rapid pace and Roma community can contribute in this journey of development.
