Rohith Vemula's suicide case: Hyd Univ students intensify agitation, seek removal of VC

The Students agitation over Rohith Vemula's suicide in the Hyderabad Central University has intensified today despite the authorities' revoking suspension against four students. The agitating students rejected the appeal of the university to get back to normal business. They have been demanding immediate removal of the Vice- Chancellor.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, about 150 professors and teachers have congregated at the university auditorium to discuss ways and means to resolve the issue and bring normalcy. Expressing fears that the prevailing conditions on the campus will lead to loss of academic year, the members of teaching community have held the meeting.<br/><br/>In another development, the Ambedkar Students Association, in which Rohit Vemula was an active member has convened a meeting tomorrow to decide its future course of action.
