In tennis, Indo-Canadian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov will take on fourth-seeded Belgian pair of Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen in quarterfinals of the Qatar Open in Doha, today.

Earlier, the Indo-Canadian beat the Slovak-Czech pair of Alex Molcan and Jiri Vesely 7-5, 4-6, 10-6 on Monday.

In singles, Britain's Andy Murray cruised into the last 16 with a straight-set victory over Taro Daniel  6-2, 6-2.  Former World No. 1 Murray will take on second seed Roberto Bautista Agut in the second round today.

Seventh seed Alexander Bublik beat Slovakian qualifier Jozef Kovalik 6-2, 6-4. The World No. 31 Kazakh now faces Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, who defeated Jiri Vesely 3-6, 7-6(4), 6-4.
