In Tennis, world number three Roger Federer has lifted his maiden ATP Shanghai Masters trophy. In the title clash yesterday, 17-time Grand Slam winner Federer defeated Frenchman Gilles Simon, 7-6, 7-6.America's top seeded Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike won the Doubles title. They beat the French team of Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin, 6-3, 7-6 to become the first pair to win all nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments. This was the 101st career title for the 35-year old siblings in their 152nd final.
