World No.2 and defending champion Roger Federer will begin his quest for yet another ATP Championship title in Dubai today. In his opening match of the tournament, Federer will be up against big serving Mikhail Yozhny. Federer has won the ATP Championship title in Dubai for a record six times and Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium has been a lucky charm for him. However, World number one and Wimbledon and Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic, Australian Open runner-up Andy Murray and two-time Dubai finalist Tomas Berdych will be giving him a tough competition in the tournament.
