Roger Federer enter Men's semi-final by defeating Stanislas Wawrinka

Roger Federer has cruised into his eighth consecutive Australian Open Tennis semi-final. In the quarter-final in Melbourne on Tuesday, the Swiss star outclassed his compatriot Stansilas Wawrinka 6-1, 6-3, 6-3 with a dazzling all-court game. In the last four stage, the second seeded defending champion will meet Novak Djokovic of Serbia. Djokovic advanced by beating Thomas Berdych in straight sets 6-1, 7-6, 6-1. The other two men's quarter-finals are slated for Wednesday. World Number One Rafel Nadal will meet his Spanish compatriot David Ferrer, while last year's finalist Andy Murray will play Ukrainian Alexander Dolgopolov. In the women's section, China's Li Na powered into her second straight Australian Open semi-final by defeating Germany's Andrea Petkovic 6-2, 6-4. In the semi-final, Li will meet Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark. The Danish top-seed beat Italy's Francesca Schiavone 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 in her quarter-final to make her first semi-final appearance in the Australian Open women's singles. In the other two women's singles quarter-finals on Wednesday, Kim Clijsters will take on Agnieszka Radwanska while Vera Zvonareva faces Petra Kvitova.
