Six-time champion Roger Federer has crashed out of Wimbledon men's singles round. He was defeated by 12th-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych by three sets to one – 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. It is the first time since 2002 that Federer has failed to reach the final. Bedrych will now face Novak Djokovic in the semi-final match.4th ranked Andy Murray has advaced to semi-finals with a battling four-set win over France's Jo Wilfried Tsonga. Now he will face World number one Rafael Nadal in semi- finals. Earlier, American sisters – Venus Williams and Serena Williams lost in the Women's doubles quarterfinals. In the Women's singles semi-final today, defending champion Serena will meet Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic. The other semi-final will be between Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova and Russian Vera Zvonareva.
