Swiss Tennis star Roger Federer won a record equalling 7th Wimbledon title and 17th Grand Slam crown by beating Britain's Andy Murray 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 and 6-4 in the Men's Singles final in London last night. Federer, joined the ranks of Pete Sampras and William Renshaw as a seven time champion. The Swiss great, who regained the world number one ranking with this win is the third man over 30 to win Wimbledon following Rod Laver in 1969 and Arthur Ashe in 1975. Federer expressed happiness at his achievement.
