Roger Federer bags eighth Halle title in Germany

World number two Roger Federer has bagged the Halle Open ATP title in Germany for the record eighth time. In the title clash last evening, the top seeded Swiss defeated Italian Andreas Seppi, 7-6, 6-4, to win his fourth title of the year, taking his career haul to 86. In the Doubles, Rohan Bopanna and his Romanian team-mate Florin Mergea lost the Final after losing to lower placed American-South African team of Rajeev Ram and Raven Klaasen, 6-7, 2-6. Over in London, Briton Andy Murray claimed his fourth Queen's Club title yesterday. He defeated South Africa's Kevin Anderson, 6-3, 6-4 in the final to join the likes of John McEnroe and Boris Becker as a four-time Queen's Club champion.
