A convoy of the British embassy in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa was attacked by a rocket on Wednesday killing three bystanders and seriously injuring five embassy staff. A source at the British embassy said the embassy has been closed. A British Foreign Ministry official in London confirmed the incident but claimed only one British embassy staff suffered minor injury. In the other incident, a French national died when a guard at an Austrian gas company near Sanaa opened fire.
