Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra will now be frisked at airports as his name has finally been removed from the no-frisking list. The decision to exclude Vadra's name from list was taken by Civil Aviation Ministry today. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters Minister of State for Aviation Mahesh Sharma said Robert Vadra was given the facility as he is associated with a particular family and used to travel with Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi who are SPG protectee. <br/> <br/>Congress sokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi told reporters in New Delhi that Robert Vadra had been requesting the government in the past months to be removed from the list. Mr Singhvi alleges that in order to score political points, NDA government had been imposing the status of an SPG protectee on Vadra. <br/><br/>Reacting to the government decision, Mr Vadra commented on Facebook that he appreciate his name will not appear in the VVIP list anymore. He expressed hope that this is a dead issue now and it will not be used against him. <br/><br/>Earlier, Mr Vadra had said that he wanted to be off the list of VIPs exempt from frisking at airports. The no-frisking privilege is granted to constitutional figures and those who have elite Special Protection Group.
