In Tamil Nadu. 14 kgs of gold jewellery, 2 kgs of diamonds worth over 14 crores were stolen from a leading jewellery store in Tirupur town last night. The theft came to light when the employees of the store, opened the shop this morning. Police said the robbers had removed the exhaust fan on the rear side of the shop and made an opening to get into the shop and carry out the heist. The District Supt of Police Mr V.Balakrishnan told our correspondent that five special teams have been formed to nab the culprits.
