A roadside bomb tore through a vehicle taking a family to a wedding party in Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing 10 people. Police said the mine was planted by the militants to target military forces. Police chief in the western Herat province, Abdul Jabar Purdili said it instead hit the civilian bus killing, 10 people most of them were women and children. He said four other people were injured. Purdili said the bomb was planted on a road between Herat and Nimroz provinces, both bordering Iran.
