In Afghanistan, 11 civilians including five children have been killed in a string of roadside bomb attacks in insurgency-hit<br/><br/>Provinces. Authorities said five children were killed in the western province of Herat when a roadside bomb went off.<br/><br/>Six other civilians were killed in two separate but similar bomb blasts yesterday in the southern province of Helmand.<br/>
