In Uttarakhand, many roads have been blocked due to landslides following heavy rain. Twenty persons were killed in rain related incidents during 24 hours. Met department predicts more rain in coming 24 hours. Meanwhile eighteen bodies have been recovered so far from the debris in Bageshwar where a school building had collapsed due to landslide yesterday. Rescue operations are going on in the affected areas of Kapkot. The Prime Minister has sanctioned ex gratia assistance of one lakh rupees each to next of kin of the deceased.
