In Telangana, State government has extended Dussehra holidays for all educational institutes in the state while Road Transport Corporation workers intensified their strike. The educational institutes including Schools and Colleges, which are scheduled to re-open tomorrow will now open on 21st of this month.<br />'' <br />'' The government has diverted all buses belonged to educational institutes for public use as part of the contingency plan in the wake of RTC strike. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao made it clear that all the employees and workers who have not joined their services before the Government's deadline, are considered self-dismissed and there is no question of taking them back into service.<br />'' <br />'' State Transport Minister P. Ajay Kumar said the Government is running about 8 thousand buses daily with temporary drivers, conductors and other staff. Meanwhile, the Joint Action Committee of the Telangana State RTC Workers Unions has decided to intensify their agitation demanding the government to fulfil their just demands. <br />'' <br />'' This includes merger of the state-owned Transport Corporation in the government to prevent its privatisation. On the other hand, all opposition parties including Congress, BJP and Left parties extended support to the RTC Strike.<br />'' <br />''  <br />''  <br />
