Road Transport and Highways Ministry will launch a web portal for online approval of movement of Over Dimensional and Over Weight Cargo. An official release said, it would be a path breaking initiative to mark a new era for heavy transport in the country by ensuring digitalization in the sector. The Ministry said, this initiative would offer an opportunity to save time and avoid transit delays in movement of equipment of national importance by Modular Hydraulic Axle Trailers.
