Acknowledging the problem of road safety in India, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that the US has assured full co-operation in meeting the challenge by sharing its technical knowledge. <br/><br/>Talking to Indian journalists in Washington after his meetings with US Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx and American business community, he said that safety of roads is of highest priority for the government. <br/><br/>Mr. Gadkari said the US has assured cooperation with the rules, regulations, the software technology, road safety and intelligent traffic management. <br/><br/>He is on a visit to the United States aimed at attracting FDI in the crucial infrastructure sector in India and accelerating bilateral cooperation with the US.<br/><br/>
