<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of state for Home G Kishan Reddy today said Road Requirement Plan and Road Connectivity Project are under implementation in Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected areas. Replying to question in the Lok Sabha, Mr Reddy said Road Requirement Plan launched in 2009 envisages construction of 5422 km of roads in LWE affected states. <br />''<br />''He said, of these 54 roads with 1,988 km were sanctioned for Chhattisgarh which was about 27 per cent of the total sanctioned for all the LWE affected states. The minister informed the House that under Road Connectivity project, approved in December 2016, envisages construction of over 5400 km of roads including 891 km for Chhattisgarh.</span><br />
