In Uttarakhand, 12 people were killed and 18 other injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling fell down into Nahal river near Gadarpur in Udhamsingh nagar district late last night due to dense fog. Official sources said that all passengers were residents of Uttar Pradesh and they were returning from Kurukshetra in Haryana after participating in a religious conference.
