In Chhattisgarh, at least 8 persons were killed and 18 injured in a road mishap in Raipur district on Wednesday. The condition of nine of the injured is stated to be critical. All the injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Raipur. The accident occurred when a mini-truck carrying a marriage party collided head on with a truck near Kachna under the Abhanpur police station area.In another incident in Rajnandgaon district, 3 persons belonging of a marriage party were killed when the vehicle carrying them met an accident.
