In Uttar Pradesh, at least 33 persons, including 10 children and 8 women were killed and 32 injured, some of them seriously in three separate road accidents in Sitapur, Bijnore and Kanpur Dehat districts.<br/><br/>Quoting police sources our Lucknow correspondent reports that that in Sitapur district 24 persons were killed in a road accident when a tractor trolley carrying them overturned and fell into a gorge in Pisawan police area. 18 persons died on the spot while 6 succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.<br/><br/>In Bijnore district 7 persons were buried alive and 20 injured when a truck loaded with sugarcane by products overturned and fell on a tractor trolley carrying the pilgrims.<br/><br/>In Kanpur Dehat district a brother and sister died, when a truck crushed them.
