Road accident claimed 14 lives in Orissa and Uttar Pradesh today. In Orissa, seven persons were killed and five injured in a road accident at Balijodi under Ghatagaon police station of Keonjhar district this morning. The mishap occurred when the vehicle carrying the victims had a collision with a truck loaded with iron ores. The injured, one of whom is said to be critical, have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack. Police is investigating into the cause of the accident.<br/><br/>Meanwhile 7 persons were killed in two separate road accidents at Mainpuri and Kheri districts of Uttar Pradesh. Quoting police sources our Lucknow correspondent reports, in Mainpuri district five persons killed and 7 others were injured in a road accident under Bewar police station on Etah Kannauj road. This accident happened when a jeep in which they were traveling was hit by a speed truck. Injured have been admitted in district hospital.<br/> In Kheri district two cyclists were killed under Pasgawan police station when they were hit by a roadways bus.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>
