RJD's Bihar Bandh evokes mixed response

The RJD-sponsored Bihar bandh evoked mixed response. The party has called bandh in protest against non-disclosure of caste census report by Centre. Rail and road traffic were partly affected in different parts of the State. JD(U) has supported the bandh.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav took out a procession in support of bandh in Patna today. Over 500 RJD supporters including Lalu Prasad and other senior leaders of party and supporters have courted arrest. Meanwhile, RJD chief said there will be fight between Mandal and Kamandal in upcoming Bihar assembly election.

Reacting on Bihar Bandh, founder of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and former Chief Minister Jiten Ram Manjh said, this is a trailer of jungleraj in the state.
