13 MLAs of Laloo Prasad Yadav's Rashtriya Janta Dal, RJD who resigned from party have been recognised as a separate group in the Assembly. The Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary confirmed this to AIR News in Patna. RJD Media Incharge Randhir Yadav however claimed that six MLAS have denied resigning from the party.

Earlier rebel RJD MLA Samrat Chaudhary confirmed his resignation and said that 13 MLAs have written to the Assembly Speaker for making separate arrangement for their sitting in the House.
