The rivers are in a spate in Uttar Pradesh due to continuous rain and release of water from barrages. Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in different parts of the state in the last twelve hours. River Sharda is continuously rising and flowing above the danger mark at Paliankalan in Khiri district. According to the Met department, widespread rainfall was reported from many western and eastern Parts of Uttar Pradesh. Bareilly, Banda and Hardoi regions have recorded good rain fall.
