Hockey India has recommended women's team captain Ritu Rani, VR Raghunath and Dharamvir Singh for the Arjuna Award. Hockey India said in a statement that the players have beenrecommended as they have done India proud by earning several accolades internationally. It said, they deserve every recognition and appreciation for their efforts in making the nation shine in various tournaments.Hockey India has also recommended Sylvanus Dung Dung for the Major Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award. Veteran Coach CR Kumar has been recommended for the Dronacharya Award.
