Rising prices to be control soon: Rahul Gandhi

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has expressed hope that the rising prices will be controlled soon. Talking to media persons in Bhopal on Tuesday he said, price rise is a major issue. Prices are rising due to cyclical pressure of prices and not due to any mismanagement. He said government is in process of controlling inflation and we will see the impact of this management soon. Denying that he favoured creation of a separate Bundelkhand state, he said the miseries and problems in this area make him saddened. Mr. Gandhi said the central government has taken all possible efforts for the welfare of the Bundelkhand region but they are not bearing fruits due to opposition governments in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. He accused that despite six times increase in the funds for Madhya Pradesh by the UPA government, the state government is not fully utilizing funds and blaming centre. Replying to a question he said that the distance between youths and politics is decreasing. He said he himself is a product of the system but it does not mean that he could not change the system. Mr. Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two day visit of Madhya Pradesh, also addressed a meeting of Congress functionaries in Bhopal today. <br/>
