Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has expressed hope that the prices of essential commodities will go down in coming days as a record wheat production is expected this year. Addressing a function in New Delhi yesterday, Mr. Pawar claimed that the prices of sugar have already started declining due to sufficient production in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that with food inflation continuing its upward trend, Opposition parties have decided to take the issue to the people.<br/>
