The Agriculture Minister Mr. Sharad Pawar, today said that a record wheat production is expected this year and was hopeful that the prices of essential commodities will go down in coming days due to good Rabi Crops.<br/><br/>Speaking at a function to mark the opening of the National Agriculture Fair in New Delhi today , Mr Pawar claimed that the prices of sugar have already started declining due to sufficient crop produce in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent says that with Food inflation continuing its upward trend the opposition parties have decided to take the issue to the people.
