The 31st Summer Olympic Games will officially begin early tomorrow morning, with an expected-to-be-grand opening ceremony at the Maracana Stadium in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janiero. The ceremony, which will start at 4:30 AM Indian Time, is expected to highlight Brazil's diverse nature along with music and dance. Around 35,000 professionals are expected to take part in the event which will feature some big names, including sports persons and singers.Nearly 11,000 athletes from 205 countries, including a refugee team, will take part in the 17-day extravaganza featuring 306 events in 42 sport disciplines. India is fielding its biggest ever contingent with almost 120 athletes.
