Deepika will be up against Kristine Esebua of Georgia. Yesterday, Atanu first blanked his Nepalese opponent Jitbahadur Muktan 6-Nil to reach round of 16. In that stage, Atanu defeated Cuba's Adrian Perez 6-4 in a thrilling contest. Atanu will now feature in round of 8 on Friday where he will meet Lee Seung-yun, a South Korean opponent who has been part of the Gold winnig team event in this Olympics.
