RINL has not increased profits in last ten years, also its cumulative losses were Rs 7122 crore: Union Steel Minister in LS

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Steel minister R C P Singh said the strategic disinvestment of Union Government's equity in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) would lead to infusion of capital for optimum utilization, expansion of capacity with resultant higher production. Mr Singh said, RINL has not increased its profits during the last ten years. <br />''<br />''Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha today, Mr Singh said RINL cumulative losses were 7122 crore rupees. The minister informed the Lok Sabha that the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) in its meeting has accorded in-principle approval for 100 percent disinvestment of Government shareholding in RINL.</span><br />
