Rijiju reiterates Centre's commitment to eliminate terrorism

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju has reiterated the commitment of Union government to eliminate terrorism. He was informally interacting with media at Manali today. He said that Indian government has provided substantial proof against Hafiz Mohammad Sayeed to Pakistan and if Pakistan is denying it then it is doing a mistake. The Minister said that basic infrastructure would be developed near border areas of the country and alleged that the previous UPA government failed to develop adequate security at our border areas.<br/><br/>Kiren Rijiju said that presently there is 990 crore rupees budget to develop basic infrastructure in border areas, which seems insufficient and finance ministry has been urged to increase this budget. He will visit the Sumdoh border in Spiti division of tribal district Lahaul-Spiti tomorrow and would also hold a meeting with army officials there.
