Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju today met a group of students from Serchhip district of Mizoram, who were on National Integration Tour. During the meeting, the children shared their experience of the visit to different historical places and thanked the Assam Rifles and the Centre for organising such tours. Mr Rijiju also thanked Assam Rifles, including BSF and CRPF, for working towards National Integration by organising such tours for students of North East. He said, Assam Rifles is not only working towards maintaining peace in the North East region but also doing social work.<br/><br/>Speaking about Mizoram, Mr Rijiju said Mizoram is one of the peaceful states in the country and there is a huge potential for tourism, which can be realized by improving infrastructure and better connectivity. The Minister said that India is a huge country with multiple religions and cultures, which has to be respected by all the citizens.
