The Historic Law making education a fundamental right of every child will come into force tomorrow. This is expected to benefit nearly one crore children who do not go to school at present. Nearly 92 lakh children who have either dropped our of schools or have never been to any educational institution, will now be able to get elementary education as it will be binding on the local and state governments to ensure tht all children between the age of 6 to 14 are enrolled in schools. The Act makes it mandatory for private educational institutional to reserve 25 per cent seats for children from weaker sections of society. Our correspondent says that earlier centre and states resolved all issues related to its implementation. They have agreed to share the funds in the ratio of 55 is to 45. <br/>
