In Chhattisgarh, rich tributes were paid in Raipur on Tuesday, to the nine jawans killed in a naxal attacks last night. These policemen which include one ASP were killed in a ambush by the ultras in the Gariabandh area of the Raipur district when they were returning after a search operation last evening. One policemen who accompanied the team is still missing. The bodies of these nine policemen were recovered from the site on Tuesday and air lifted to Raipur where Mr. Shekhar Dutt Governor of the State Dr. Raman Singh the Chief Minister his cabinet colleague senior Police Official and others paid floral tributes to the deceased policemen. The bodies of the victims were subsequently handed over to their kins.
