Massive rice procurement has been achieved in the current Kharif marketing season. This season it has crossed 181 lakh tonnes mark while it was around 154 lakh tonnes during the last season.According to the data released on Tuesday, Chhattisgarh procured over 26.19 lakh tonnes of rice followed by Andhra Pradesh over 20.90 lakh tonnes and Haryana 19.66 lakh tonnes.
