RIC agree to enhance cooperation to fight terror, crime

The tri-lateral India, China, Russia foreign ministers meeting concluded in Bangalore on Tuesday afternoon with a pledge to enhance cooperation to effectively deal with terrorism and Tran’s national crime which is paramount for stability and development.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters in Bangalore, the external affairs minister Mr. S M Krishna said that disaster management, cooperation in agriculture and health care and medicine also figured prominently in the talks.<br/><br/>In his remarks, the Russian foreign minister Mr. Sergei Lavrov said that the meeting felt that the present global economic crisis mainly due to the fact that the present day world reality is not reflecting in the global economic architecture.<br/><br/>Mr. Lavrov said that the climate change and situation in Iran also remained focuss of the discussion and its details are being given in the joint communiqu’.<br/><br/>He said new areas of cooperation between the three countries also came up for deliberation to enhance the trade basket.<br/>
