Revised World Anti-Doping Code adopted in S Africa

A revised World Anti-Doping Code, doubling the bans for cheats in sport, was adopted in Johannesburg, South Africa today. It was passed by the board of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) at the end of three day deliberation by some 1,000 delegates attending the World Conference on Doping in Sport. The revised code also seeks smarter testing and targets support staff around athletes, such as errant doctors.
